Add warranties and size guides
Write warranty terms and size charts once, attach them to products or categories, and show them on your product pages.
Warranties and size guides answer two common customer questions right on the product page: "What if it breaks?" and "Which size do I need?". You write each one once and then attach it to products, or let a default or a category do that for you.
Before you start
- Seeing warranties needs View products. Creating or changing them, and picking a warranty or size guide on a product, needs Add & edit products.
- Size guides are under Settings and need Storefront design.
- For a size guide, have a clear photo or screenshot of your size chart: PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB.

Which size guide a product shows
On the product's Product Details tab, More options → Size guide has three choices:
- From category (the default): the product uses its categories' guide. Its main category comes first, and a sub-category's own guide beats its parent category's guide.
- A specific guide: the product always shows that guide.
- No size guide: nothing is shown, even if its category has a guide.
What customers see
- Warranty: a Warranty & After Sales Support tab on the product page with your terms, and a card with the warranty's name near the buy buttons that jumps to that tab. Both appear only when the warranty is active and has terms written.
- Size guide: a Size guide link next to the product's size option (an option whose name contains "size"), a Size guide card near the buy buttons, and a Size Guide tab with the chart. The link and the card open a popup with the name, the chart and your measuring note.

FAQ
Edit it and turn off Active. Products that picked it show no warranty until you turn it back on. They don't switch to the default warranty.
On Settings → Storefront → Size Guide, turn off its switch (on phones: Turn off in its menu). A product that gets its guide from a category then uses the next guide up the category tree, if there is one. A product that picked this guide itself shows none.
It stops showing on product pages, including products that picked it themselves.
Check that the warranty is Active and has Terms written. If the product's Warranty field is empty, check that you have a default warranty.
