Connect a courier
Connect Pathao, Steadfast, RedX, Carrybee, Paperfly or eCourier so orders are booked automatically when shipped.
Connect your courier account to StoreLine once, and every order you mark as Shipped is booked with that courier automatically. Tracking updates then come back to the order on their own.
Before you start
- You need the permission Integrations & secrets.
- Have your courier's API details ready, from that courier's merchant panel. These are not the same as your merchant panel login, except where noted below.
Couriers you can connect
Pathao Courier, Steadfast Courier, RedX Delivery, Carrybee, Paperfly and eCourier book parcels automatically. Manual / Other is for your own delivery or any other courier; those parcels are dispatched by hand.
Steps
7 steps · ~5 min
Step 1
Go to Settings → Shipping & Delivery → Delivery Methods and click Add Method.Step 2
Choose your courier.Step 3
Give it a Delivery Method Name (for example "Pathao Dhaka"). Keep Live — accepting orders on.Step 4
Fill in the connection details for that courier (see below). Required fields must be filled before you can save.Step 5
Click Create.Step 6
Open the method again. Under Status webhook, click Copy and paste the URL into the webhook setting of your courier's merchant panel. This is how delivery updates reach StoreLine.Step 7
Optional: click the star on a courier to make it your preferred one. It is listed first when you choose a courier on an order.Screenshotcouriers-delivery-methods-add-pathaoScreenshotcouriers-delivery-methods-webhook-url
What each courier needs
- Steadfast: API Key and Secret Key, from the Steadfast merchant portal under API settings. The pickup address comes from your Steadfast account.
- Pathao: Store ID (Business Settings → Stores in your Pathao panel), Client ID and Client Secret (API / Developers section), and your Pathao panel username and password.
- RedX: API Token, Pickup Store ID, and a default delivery area (ID and name).
- Carrybee: Store ID, plus Client ID, Client Secret and Client Context from the API Credentials page of your Carrybee account. Use the Production ones.
- Paperfly: Store Name (your pickup store as registered with Paperfly), plus API Username, API Password and API Key. Paperfly's support team issues these; they are not your merchant panel login.
- eCourier: API Key, API Secret, User ID and Package Code from your eCourier merchant panel, plus a default city and area (used when an order's address has none).
Sending orders to the courier
There is no separate "send" button. Move an order to Shipped (on the order, or in bulk with Change Workflow), and StoreLine books it with the order's courier. The courier collects the amount still due on the order as cash on delivery.
Tips and common mistakes
- "API connected" only means every field is filled. StoreLine doesn't test the details when you save. If they are wrong, the first booking fails and shows the courier's reason, and the order stays in its current status.
- Treat the webhook URL like a password. Anyone with it can post status updates.
- When you edit a method, its saved details are already filled in. If you empty a secret field, the saved value is kept.
- For Pathao, RedX, Carrybee and Paperfly, turn on Use order weight to book with each order's weight instead of the default weight.
- Fraud Checking Accounts (also under Shipping & Delivery) is a different feature. It stores courier logins for checking a customer's phone number and does not ship anything.
FAQ
Open the order and click Cancel booking. This works for Paperfly, eCourier and Carrybee. For Steadfast, Pathao and RedX, cancel the consignment from the courier's own panel.
Yes. Turn its switch to Inactive on the Delivery Methods page. Orders that already use it keep their details.
