Set up payment methods
Offer cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad, bank transfer and online payment at checkout, and check manual payments.
Payment methods are the ways customers can pay at checkout on your store: cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad or Rocket sent by hand, bank transfer, and online payment. You can also show payment instructions, add a handling fee, or set order amount limits.
Before you start
- You need the permission Manage accounting. Which payment methods you can turn on depends on your plan.
- Manual methods (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, bank) need an account for the money to go into. Create it first under Accounting → Accounts.

Checking bKash / Nagad payments
When a customer pays by mobile wallet, checkout asks them for the number they paid from and the Transaction ID. You then check the payment yourself:
- Open the order (or web order). Find the Payment proof block.
- Find that Transaction ID in your bKash / Nagad account and check the amount and sender.
- Click Verify payment if it matches, or Reject and pick a reason (for example "TrxID not found" or "Amount mismatch").
An order with a payment that hasn't been checked can't be shipped. If you reject a wallet payment, the amount is collected on delivery instead.
Online payment
If the online payment method shows Gateway is off, online payment isn't available yet, and customers aren't offered it at checkout.
Tips and common mistakes
- Cash on delivery can't be deleted. Turn it off instead.
- At least one method must stay on, otherwise customers can't check out.
- A method that already has orders can't be deleted. Turn it off instead.
- The handling fee is added to the order total and rounded to a whole taka. Order limits are checked against the total before the fee.
- If checkout doesn't show your account number, make sure the account is marked "Receives storefront payments" and has an account number.
FAQ
Payment methods have no advance-payment setting. On a web order you can record an Advance paid amount; the courier then collects only the rest.
